Dr. Marilyn Britton cares passionately about pets and believes that they deserve the best life possible. Her thirteen-year-old Coton de Tulear , Tony, is a source of joy and love in her life. Tony has inspired her to support organizations that engage in dog rescue and work to shut down puppy mills, which are commercial dog breeding facilities that are operated with an emphasis upon profits above animal welfare. They provide substandard conditions and have low regard for the well-being of the dogs in their care.
